CEJ put together a travelling exhibition to showcase art created by Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim war-affected women expressing their memories and emotions from the civil war and ethnic violence. This series of travelling exhibitions highlighted local and global experiences of women’s views and initiatives on memorializing, to achieve reconciliation. Memory boxes, posters, and large tapestry-style artwork were curated and exhibited in Galle, Polonnaruwa, Mannar, and Batticaloa through-out the month of July 2019.
