The youth who attended the picture-story-telling workshops were capacitated and encouraged to conduct similar forums in their villages to pass the message to their network members. The youth were instructed to use creative methods like poetry, drama, song, debate and art to generate conversations on memory and experiences of ethnic violence and conflict management. These Youth Dialogue Fora presented an opportunity to the youth trained in this project to raise awareness on concepts of reconciliation and social cohesion, and on their role in these processes. Twelve forums were conducted in Trincomalee, Moneragala, and Vavuniya from August- September 2019.
