In order to identify the socio-economic background and the needs of the people, two Participatory Rural Assessments (PRA) were conducted in Anuradhapura within the month of July 2021. The first PRA session was held in Rotapokuna village under the Kahatagasdigiliya Divisional Secretariat and the second session was held in Alapathwewa village under the Horowpothana Divisional Secretariat. The sessions were coordinated in line with all the COVID-19 safety precautions and guidelines with the support of Women Development Officers (WDOs) and Grama Niladhari Officers (GNOs) in both villages.
