CEJ facilitated two full-day workshops that aimed to build the capacity on gender and sexual bribery that will foster a nuanced and comprehensive understanding of sexual forms of bribery. The workshop was held in Galle Face Hotel, and was facilitated by Attorney at Law Malsirini de Silva. There were 51 selected officers (44 female and 07 male) officers from the Colombo district who attended the two sessions. Based on the evaluation, participants indicated that they had not been exposed to this topic before and appreciated the opportunity they were given to gain this knowledge. Participates also indicated that following the training, they are now able to access whether the complaint before them is one dealing with sexual bribery.
