The Anuradhapura exhibition was held on September 15, 2025, in front of the Kahatagasdigiliya Divisional Secretariat and featured 56 women entrepreneurs from Self Help Groups, attracting around 500 participants. The products for sale included handwoven sarees, tarts, coconut-based items, and other locally made goods. The event received strong support from People’s Bank and local NGOs, who committed to training SHG members in branding, marketing, financial literacy, and leadership. The exhibition boosted sales, enhanced market visibility, and highlighted the importance of community-driven initiatives for sustainable livelihoods and women’s empowerment.
