The Centre for Equality and Justice (CEJ) organized a two-day workshop on the topic of women and reparations from 22- 23 April 2021. The objective of the workshop was to raise awareness on gender and reparations by way of creating art installations that depict women’s views. 16 women representing grass-root level organizations from Polonnaruwa, Hambantota , Puttalam, and Batticaloa attended the workshop. Four different types of art installations were constructed at the end of the workshop and were shared on CEJ’s social media platforms for wider awareness raising.
