Capacity Building Workshop in Colombo on the concept of TJ and TJ mechanisms (specifically for OMP and Office for Reparations) for women’s organizations including CBOs in North, East and North Central.

The capacity building workshop on TJ and TJ mechanisms for CSOs was held on 15th August at International Centre for Ethnic Studies (ICES). 28 participants attended the workshop. OMP Commissioner Dr. Nimalka Fernando was a panelist and addressed the questions raised by the participants on the current work of the OMP. Ms. Danushka Medawatte, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, did a presentation on Reparations and women and the Reparations draft law. CEJ’s Executive Director Shyamala Gomez facilitated the discussion.
