Distribution of nutritional packs to children in Anuradhapura and Kilinochchi

Historically, Anuradhapura and Kilinochchi are the districts with the highest levels of malnutrition in children in Sri Lanka. The economic crisis has only worsened the situation, and parents struggle to provide their children with a balanced diet. Therefore, as a part of an ongoing project to support at-risk war-affected children and their mothers through the formation of self-help groups, CEJ conducted a nutritional pack distribution as immediate relief. During March 2023, 129 packs were distributed in Anuradhapura and 124 in Kilinochchi for children between the ages of 4 and 12.
