CEJ consulted government officers across 11 districts from the Northern, Eastern and Southern Provinces with the following objectives; 1. To raise awareness and understanding of sexual bribery as a human rights violation. 2. To share finding of 3 research studies conducted by CEJ on sexual bribery of Tamil, Sinhala and Muslim war affected women. 3. To gather feedback from officers to contribute towards a code of conduct to improve service delivery by public offices at national and district levels to address sexual bribery faced by these women. The information gathered from these meetings will be submitted to the Secretary to the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, in order to carry forward this initiative.
