A National Level Dialogue on ‘Reconciling Sri Lanka: Making Voices of Youth and Women Matter’ was held on 26 November 2019, at the BMICH. Promoting leadership among women and youth and inclusion of youth and women in reconciliation initiatives was the core objective of this event. The youth presented their contributions to and expectations of the District Development Plans implemented by the State in their respective Districts. The dialogue brought together approximately 110 stakeholders including youth activists, community women, officials from government and independent commissions, academia, the donor community, representatives from diplomatic missions, UN agencies, and CSOs.
