Professor Ruth Rubio Marin Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Seville delivered the keynote speech at a virtual event hosted by CEJ on 30 September 2020. The discussion was on the topic of ‘Gender Based Violence and Reparations: Taking Stock and Moving Forward’.
The core objective of the event was to create a platform and awareness on the need to provide reparations for victims of gender based violence among a variety of stakeholders. Participants included CSOs, the Office for Reparations and activists. CEJ also premiered a video production on the perspectives of victim survivors at this event. The Production titled ‘Reparo’ was followed by a Q and A Session.
